The book I read was The Boy on the Wooden Box a memoir by Leon Leyson. This book was 206 pages long. If you like books with uncertain and plot twisting plots this is the book for you. I love how the author wrote in first person point of view because I could see what Leon went through from his prospective.

The book I read was Diary of a Wimpy Kid The Getaway by Jeff Kinney. This book is 217 pages long. Another book by this author is the entire Diary of a Wimpy Kid Series. If you like comedies and want a quick read this is the book for you. I enjoyed the mood because it was funny and always had a plot twist that made me laugh.
The Heffley family has had enough with their life and they (the Mom) decided that it would be a good idea to go on a family vacation for Christmas. Not to their surprise it was not a very enjoyable vacation. Before they even left for the air port it was chaos in their house getting ready. When they finally got to the air port they realized that their plane left in 10 minutes. Meanwhile, Greg fell in a freezing cold puddle of ice and ran to the bathroom to wipe his self with toilet paper. When he got out he realized that the plane actually didn’t leave for another hour. When they finally got on the plane Greg sat between a couple with a really noise baby. As if it couldn’t get any worse, all the rest of his family got to sit in first class. Another book by this author is Percy Jackson and The Sea of Monsters. If you like mythology or even more specific, Greek mythology. This is the book for you to read. I love how the author wrote in first person because I can see and understand his thoughts and actions from his perspective and reasons.
A fourteen year old (almost 15 year old ) is going to orientation and they gather in the gym. Suddenly, three monsters come around the corner disguised as cheer leaders. Percy is no ordinary 14 year old because his dad is Poseidon and he is a half blood and is currently trying to stop the titan lord Kronos. Anyway, he figures out that the cheer leaders are actually monsters trying to kill him. Percy starts sprinting out of the gym and is trying to get as far away as possible when suddenly he runs into his friend Annabeth from camp Half-Blood. They start running away and make it to a taxi. The book I was reading was The Magicians Nephew by C.S. Lewis. This book is filled with 202 amazing pages. C.S Lewis also wrote The Lion, The Which, and The wardrobe and this book is the prequel. If you enjoy books with lots of adventure, mystery and fun, this the book for you. I love how the author wrote in third person omniscient because I could see everyone’s perspective in different situations.
BOOM! I heard from upstairs while I was laying on my bed like most boring days. My name is Digiory and I live with my Aunt and Uncle because of my Mother , who is sick beyond repair. I called my friend Polly over because we like adventures. So, we went upstairs to see what my Uncle was doing in our attic. An sure enough he was hovering over a box with ash. When we asked him what he was doing, he said that you should never tell anyone about this and that the box of dust was from another world. We started to run out and call the cops when he grabbed a yellow ring from his shelf and threw it at Polly. The second it touched her skin she was gone in a split second and Uncle Andrew said that she was teleport to another world and if you want her back you are going to have to go after her yourself. The book I read was Bud Not Buddy by Christopher Paul Curtis. This book is 236 pages long. Another book by Christopher Paul Curtis is The Mighty Miss Malone. Something you might not know about the author is the first writer to win both Children’s Literature prizes in one year. If you like books that are historical fiction this is the book for you. I love how the author wrote this book in first person because I could really understand Bud’s struggles.
Bud is a ten year old boy that lost his Mom when he was six and only has a small “suitcase”. Bud lives in an orphanage called the home. Bud is sent to a family called the Amos’s and does not have a great time. Their kid named Todd bullies Bud and frames him. So, he is forced to go sleep in the shed and they said that the last kid that slept in the shed died in his sleep. Bud ran away and tried to live on his own. Bud realized that he couldn’t live by him self and he decided he was going to find his father. If you want to find out if he finds his Dad read to find out. The book I read was Percy Jackson and the Titans curse by Rick Riordan. This book is 312 pages long. Another book written by Rick Riordan is The lost hero. If you like fantasy-adventure books based on Greek mythology this is the book for you. I like how the author wrote in first person because I could feel the things Percy was feeling and I could understand his point of view of situations.
Imagine that you go to a boarding school looking for a friend being guarded by Monsters. If you can imagine that you can imagine anything in this amazing, plot twisting book. Percy is heading to go help his friend, Grover, find more half bloods to help them in the upcoming war. As usual Grover was successful in finding two half bloods. Percy, Grover, Annabeth, and Thalia tried to take the two half bloods ( Nico and Bencia) to camp half blood. But, in there attempt to rescue them a monster started chasing them. They half bloods who had their weapons with them got them out and started fighting. the monster realized that he would never beat them, so he grabbed Annabeth and ran. If you like Greek mythology you will definitely like Percy Jackson and the Sea of Monsters. I love how the author wrote in first person because I could see things from Percy’s perspective and think things through the way he thinks.
Once there was a camp named camp half blood. It was a place for half humans and half god and Percy Jackson was one of them. An evil villian poisoned the Thalia’s tree that makes the magical boarders to the camp to protect them from monsters. There is a Greek myth that there was a magical object called the golden fleece and it had healing powers. Percy and his friend named Annabeth went on a quest to find the golden fleece. If they didn’t find the golden fleece before the summer ends the camp will be over run by monsters and destroyed for eternity. They think that the golden fleece is in the sea of monsters and no one has ever made it out of the sea of monsters alive. On the way they find out that Grover ( another friend of Percy) is with the golden fleece and is in grave danger. If you want to know what happens to Percy, Annabeth, and Grover read to find out. The book I read was Fuzzy Mud by Louis Sachar. This book is 178 pages long . Something you might not know is that Louis Sachar wrote the Newbery medal winner for the book Holes. This book is similar to Stranded because the conflict in this story is similar to the problem in Stranded. Both of the conflicts involve nature hurting Humans. I love how the author wrote the story in two different time lines that slowly met up.
A few years ago there was a very smart man with a very clever ideas named Jonathan Fitzman. He wanted to help with the problem of over population. So he made bioline but it was not very safe and it could effect people in strange ways. Tamaya Dhilwaddi was one of those people who was effected. Before she was effected she walked home every day with a friend of hers named Marshall. Marshall was being bullied by a jerk named Chad and Chad challenged him to fight him in the woods after school. Marshall told Tamaya that he found out about a short cut and when they got into the woods and Chad was there. Tamaya threw “fuzzy mud” into Chad’s face to stop him from hurting Marshall. After they got out of the woods Tamaya noticed her hand was tingling and had red marks, who knew how Chad was feeling with his face tingling. Read Fuzzy Mud by Louis Sachar.
The book I read was Stranded 2 by Jeff Probst, This book is 208 pages long. Something you might not know is that Jeff Probst is the host of the Survivors TV show. This book is very similar to Stranded which is the prequel to this book. I really enjoyed because I could feel the desperate need of food, water, or fire.
Imagine you are having an amazing vacation with your family and you are sailing along the coast of Hawaii. When suddenly you hear a loud BOOM. It was an enourmos storm coming your way and the boat loses control. You wake up on an island with a crashed ship that is under water. Your greatest need is to build a fire and make a shelter. All of your materials and places to sleep to sleep are gone and only four kids named Jane, Carter, Buzz, Venessa survive on an island alone. If they get a fire going that means that they can have cooked food and possibly a signal to a plane or boat to get home.
